After adding a decat, Power Commander 5, and O2 sensor eliminator to my Vitpilen 701, my easy shift got rough and gear changes became tricky. Could spark timing delays be the cause? Now, with the closed loop disabled, I'm worried the bike might run too lean and cause damage, anyone else run their ride blind like this?

Yes, altering the exhaust and fuel mapping can affect shift feel and engine response, and with closed loop O2 feedback disabled, your bike could be running leaner than intended, which risks overheating or engine damage. Its worth checking fuel trims and maybe dialing in the Power Commander to ensure safe air-fuel ratios before riding aggressively. Be safe!!
